Mr Au Yueng Hing Yee, a renowned oil painter from Taishan, Guangdong, began his art journey at age 10 at the High School Affiliated with the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In the late 1970s, he moved to Hong Kong as a film art director and later donated over 300 pages of film history materials to the Hong Kong Film Archive.<\/p>\n
In 1984, he relocated to Singapore, working for Lianhe Zaobao and Lianhe Wanbao, producing over ten thousand illustrations with his wife. His award-winning work spans oil painting, gouache, and ink, including the IBM Art Award and the Grand Prize at the Ministry of Communications and Information's Art Competition.<\/p>\n
