Mr Au Yueng Hing Yee, a renowned oil painter from Taishan, Guangdong, began his art journey at age 10 at the High School Affiliated with the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In the late 1970s, he moved to Hong Kong as a film art director and later donated over 300 pages of film history materials to the Hong Kong Film Archive.

In 1984, he relocated to Singapore, working for Lianhe Zaobao and Lianhe Wanbao, producing over ten thousand illustrations with his wife. His award-winning work spans oil painting, gouache, and ink, including the IBM Art Award and the Grand Prize at the Ministry of Communications and Information's Art Competition.

欧阳兴义先生是广东台山著名的油画家，10岁时考入中央美术学院附中，开始了他的艺术生涯。
上世纪70年代末，他前往香港担任电影美术指导，并将300多页电影历史资料捐赠给香港电影资料馆。

1984年，他移居新加坡，在《联合早报》和《联合晚报》工作，与妻子共同创作了超过一万幅插图。他的作品屡获殊荣，风格多样，涵盖油画、胶彩和水墨画。他曾获得IBM美术奖和新加坡交通与新闻部美术赛大奖。
